BreathGarden does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on external servers. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or any other personally identifiable information.

Local App Data

The following data is created and stored locally on your device to provide app functionality:

• Breathing Session Data: Duration, breathing pattern, completion status, and optional effect ratings.
• Garden Progress: Unlocked plants, plant names, diary notes, and garden preferences.
• Custom Patterns: Breathing rhythms you create and name within the app.
• Plant Diary: Optional plant names, short notes, emoji, and timestamps you add to your garden.
• App Settings: Theme, sound, haptic, reminder, and notification preferences.

2. How We Use Your Data

All data handled by BreathGarden is used solely to operate the app on your device. Specifically:

• To track your breathing progress and unlock plants in your garden.
• To display your mood weather, statistics, and trends over time.
• To remind you of daily breathing moments, if enabled.
• To create a garden wallpaper when you explicitly choose to export one.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any form of automated decision-making.

3. Data Storage and Security

All app data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData / Core Data frameworks. We do not operate cloud servers or backend databases for BreathGarden. Your data remains within your device's secure sandbox and is protected by iOS built-in security measures.

4. Data Sharing

BreathGarden does not share, sell, rent, or disclose your data to any third parties. We do not integrate third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising services.

5. Permissions

BreathGarden may request the following system permissions:

• Notifications: Used only for optional daily breathing reminders. You can turn this off at any time in Settings.
• Haptics: Used to provide gentle rhythmic feedback during breathing exercises.
• Photos Library: Used only when you choose to save an exported garden wallpaper. We do not access your photos for any other purpose.

6. Your Choices and Rights

You have full control over your data. You can review, export, or delete all app data at any time through the Settings screen within BreathGarden. Uninstalling the app will also remove all locally stored data from your device.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
